Re: Development Board DLL Problem
Thanks for letting me know. While the core of the assembler had few, if any, changes the USB part was completely redone to work with HIDSharp and work across platforms. It does do some platform checking to determine if running on Windows or OS X as they each return different strings when checking c...

Re: FV-1 style Limiters converted to FX-Core
Thanks Frank,
I'll try the MAXX substitution. We've already noted the log difference in FX-core.
Kind Regards,
Steve

Re: FV-1 style Limiters converted to FX-Core
Hi Frank, We've managed to get the FV-1 -10dB Soft Knee Limiter working now (code below) but so far have not been successful with converting the FV-1 MAXX instruction or getting any other RMS Compressor / Limiter to work in FX-Core due to what appear to be scaling issues. These codes we use in FV-1 ...

FV-1 style Limiters converted to FX-Core
Hi All,
Help!
Has anyone successfully converted any of the FV-1 Limiters/Compressors to FX-Core, e.g. soft knee, RMS etc.
I can simulate the compression/limiting shapes using LN, EXP and offsets with ease in Excel but am not successful transferring this forward to coding FX-Core.
Regards,
Steve

Re: Command line assembler
I've had a battle trying to get notepad++ running for FX-Core use in my Toshiba Windows 10 32-bit laptop. I got around the problem by copying the standard FX-Core Experimental Noize folders and contents to Program Files(x86). It's all working well now. Windows 10 32-bit by default puts programs into...

Re: Rosetta Stone - Translate from FV-1 to FXCore
Excellent work. You are correct it's quite a task moving from FV-1 with 31 registers to FX-core with 15/16 core registers where I'm going to have to learn how to manipulate efficiently the MRegisters before I can think about extending our suite of vintage echo emulations. Re: Rev 1.3 dev boards
Hi Frank,
I spotted in the datasheet that at 4V reverse voltage difference the Schottky diode leakage is approaching 0.09mA at 25C. I've ordered a reel of 200 4k7 SMD resistors so don't worry about my Development Board I'll sort it out. It's an easy and neat fix.

Re: Development board problem
Frank, It's only Mick Taylor who was reporting a missing dll when trying to install the 1.06 Assembler system to a new Win 10 build. Mine works OK (ASM 1.06) as I said before providing I don't unplug it. It even connects next day and remains stable. Problems only arise for me if I remove the FXCore ...
