Re: Need a hand
Glad you've made some progress. I see what you did with those caps - easy mistake to make! Regarding the ground net error, that's strange because the DipTrace 'Check Net Connectivity...' check doesn't pick it up - I tried it with your pcb layout file. I then ran the ERC Check on your schematic and, ...

Re: Need a hand
We did consider using the MCU to control the Codec reset pin but in the end we just connected it to the FXCore pin 48 nCODECRST and it works fine that way.

Re: Need a hand
Hi guys! Quick update - I finally got the new boards after moving inputs to ADC1. Good news is I can get a passthrough program to work on the FXC. Bad news is that running anything else results in whitenoise/static for some reason. Passthru: cpy_cs r0, in0 cpy_sc out0, r0 cpy_cs r0, in1 cpy_sc out1...

Re: Need a hand
If you are using AINL/R4 shouldn't you turn on PMAD/PMDA2? So 0x25 to reg 0x0? Ya, you and Phil in the other thread made me realize what is probably my one huge mistake. I need to learn to read datasheets. I connected SDOUT1 to the FXC SDI0 and SDOUT2 to VSS but, as you mentioned, AIN4L/R is connec...

Re: Codec alternatives?
I don't know if any of this is different from what you're doing but here goes: 1) You need to hold the PDN pin low for a minimum of 600ns (page 40). I keep it low for approx 2ms on power up. 2) Then you need to wait at least 10ms after taking PDN high before making any control register settings in t...

Re: Codec alternatives?
We've also got our AK4619 working. As sebotron says, most of the default values in the control registers will work ok. We just needed to set up the analog input mode to single-ended and you also need to set the Power Management register to power up the ADCs and DACs as they default to off. Hi Phil!...

Re: Development Board DLL Problem
After restoring the file from quarantine (incidentally the second time I downloaded Norton also removed the new HIDSharp.dll so I had to restore it too!!!) everything is working in Notepad++ as far as I can tell.

Re: Development Board DLL Problem
That's correct Frank. It gives me the option to restore from the quarantine.
It actually seems to remove the .exe from the zip fie even before I try to open it!
