Re: First FXCore based pedal now shipping
No idea, you would have to ask them directly. Or I may open mine up when it gets here, yeah I ordered one. Great! We're trying to get our project working with the AK4619 Codec. Most of the defaults should work and, as far as I can tell, the default clock settings and I2S data format should work wit...

Re: Codec alternatives?
Ya I went through the datasheet and I'm giving the 4619 a try. I'll just slap on a tiny85 next to it just for startup, they're still available and cheap enough. I made an Eagle lbr for it, happy to share if you're interested. Thanks for the reco! I can always go back to that design and replace the ...

Re: First FXCore based pedal now shipping
Good to see the first of what hopefully will be many FXCore based pedals.
Any idea what Codec chip it's using?

Re: Switch pins + MCU
Hello! I'd like to operate the switch pins of the FXCore using an MCU. The datasheet says the SWx pins have a weak internal pull up, reading "1", and "0" when pulled to ground. I haven't been able to find info on the value of the pull-up resistor so I was wondering if a GPIO pin...
Re: ISP board
That's a fantastic piece of work Mick. You sure have crammed a lot into a very small enclosure size.
The swappable top-deck is a great idea too.

Re: SKRM-C8-eTap2: For Piets echotapper
Hi Tom, Yes it's the interface board designed by Piet for the eTap2hw project. IIRC the main difference between it and the recommended circuit is that it uses a JFET input stage to emulate a triode valve (the 'Fetzer valve' circuit). Piet has just started a new blog and I believe he has archived all...

This is an old photo of mine showing how to connect the PICkit2 to the SKRM:

Re: SKRM-C8-eTap2: For Piets echotapper
Hi Tom,
Yes you can re-program the SKRM EEPROM but you will need a PICkit2 programmer NOT the more recent PICkit3.
I would have to dig back into my decaying memory bank if you are interested.
Phil.

Re: Command line assembler
Thanks again for all your work on this. I had been in touch via email with Frank a few months back and I believe we discussed using another Editor. At the time I was using Notepad++ for editing but having to run the GUI Assembler alongside it. Having written a text editor of sorts on some old hardwa...

Thanks Frank, another couple of excellent features I didn't know about in Notepad++
