FX-Core clock

Post by stanleyfx »

When the FX-core is set at 32KHz clock via the PLL pins, is it actually running at 32KHz or 32.768, many of the example programs have entries in the code to set fs =32768 for filter calculations but if the actual speed is 32KHz then the formulas will be out a bit. Could you clarify if the real clock speed is 32 or 32.768 ?

It is 32K not 32768. Sorry about that, I have been writing 32768 for so long for FV-1 I automatically wrote it in the code for FXCore.

The PLL select pins basically just select a divisor, 384 in this case so it is 12.288MHz/384 which is 32K.
